Coronavirus and Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond

DAILY UPDATE (29th June 2020)

Best Beginnings work to engage, equip, educate and empower parents, from conception, to maximise their children’s life chances. They work to help parents build knowledge and confidence to support their own well-being and their children’s long-term physical, mental and emotional development.

During current times, the organisation is offering signposting to advice and support that is designed to help expectant parents find the latest information and answers to any questions they might have about COVID-19 in relation to pregnancy, labour, birth and the early stages of parenting.

For a list of over 70 national and local helplines and other online support provided by charities, click HERE. (The support is listed by charity name, in alphabetical order, with details of the type of support offered by that charity, contact numbers, opening hours and website addresses. The list of charities offering remote support is growing and the information will be regularly updated.)

For the latest Questions and Answers for pregnant women and new parents during COVID-19, click HERE. (This information is being regularly updated by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.)

Stay safe and stay connected!
